Well in Florida it will never get 9 degrees outside. However, at the ICE attraction it is a nice 9 degrees inside and they provide you a warm parka to wear, and it does its job in keeping you nice and warm. I would recommend that you bring gloves and a hat and a scarf to wear. And don't wear shorts and sandals, your top might be warm but you will have frost bite everywhere else.
This was the first time I have seen this attraction and I thought it was great. My wife and baby also enjoyed it. It is a self paced walk through attraction and you will marvel at the craftsmanship and hardwork put into the ICE. In the ICE Castle there are slides on either side that you can slide down.
Using two million pounds of ice, this Gaylord Palms special ticket exhibit will be transformed into a shimmering Santa’s Toyland, an unforgettable Life-sized Nativity, a glistening Church in the Woods and new this year, a walk through train depot with a locomotive that you can climb aboard. ICE! will also feature a Victorian house complete with life size horse drawn carriage that you can sit in. Frozen within these unique sculptures are twinkling lights that create an ever-changing luminescence.
